State Assessment Schedule for MSMS and Elementary Schools

The schedules for the annual state testing at Marshall Simonds Middle School and our four Burlington elementary schools were announced at last night’s school committee meeting. The details are listed below. If you have any questions, please contact your student’s building Principal.

PARCC Testing Schedule For Marshall Simonds Middle School

Week 1 – April 26-28 (One session of ELA each morning)

Tuesday, April 26 – One session of ELA (110 Minutes)
Wednesday, April 27 – One session of ELA (110 minutes)
Thursday, April 28 – One session of ELA (90 minutes)

Week 2 – May 3-5

Tuesday, May 3 – One sessions of Math (80 minutes)
Wednesday, May 4 – One session of Math (80 minutes)
Thursday, May 5 – One session of Math (80 minutes)

Week 3 – May 10-12

Individual student make- up sessions as needed. Regular schedules resume for all other students.

Week 4 – May 16-20

Grade 8 – Science MCAS testing  (2 45-minute sessions)

PARCC Testing Schedule For Burlington Elementary Schools

Week 1 – April 26-28 (One session of ELA each morning)

Tuesday, April 26 – One session of ELA (90 Minutes)
Wednesday, April 27 – One session of ELA (75 minutes Grade 3, 90 Minutes grades 4-5)
Thursday, April 28 – One session of ELA (90 minutes)

Week 2 – May 2-5   (One session of math each morning)

Monday, May 2 – One Session of Math (60 minutes)
Tuesday, May 3 – One sessions of Math (60 minutes)
Wednesday, May 4  – One session of Math (60 minutes)
Thursday, May 5 – One session of Math (60 minutes)

Week 3 – May 10-12

Individual student make- up sessions as needed.  Regular schedules resume for all other students.

Week 4 – May 16-20
