The Burlington High School Art Program hosts an annual Artist Alumni Day where graduates of the program come back to BHS and share their diverse experiences with our current students. During this annual event, we are blown away by the accomplishments and career paths of these students.
In past years, we have been visited by BHS grads like William Duffy, who is a well-respected sculptor and college professor, and Jason Yeadon, a graphic artist at Major League Baseball who developed the World Series logo. This year, we had another amazing crop of graduates and the event was highlighted by the Burlington Union in an article by Mark Abaskharoun titled From STEM to STEAM: Adding art to the skills needed in the 21st century job market.
Check out the BHS Art Department Facebook Page where you can find links to many of our former students websites and profiles that feature their work.
