The quality of each session at any conference can vary. Sometimes what I take from a session is not related to the topic at all. This situation happened on Saturday in a session focusing on change.
What was exciting about the conversation was that the group constructed a record of the session while it was happening. Moreover, there were contributors physically present and participating on-line.
I left thinking that this exercise would be an effective way to create district improvement plans. The district improvement plan would become a record of a community-wide conversation with ideas generated in the room as well as throughout the community.
EduCon was certainly a mind-opening experience.
