The Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) Board approved the Project Budget and Scope for a new, 500 student Memorial School. The estimated project cost came in at $27.9 million with a reimbursement rate of 51.11%. In other words, we will be receiving about $14 million in state funds toward the project. Just as important, the March 2009 approval allows us to keep on our time line. Our hope is to open the school in the fall of 2011.
There are many people to thank; however, Craig Robinson has put in countless hours into the details associated with our proposal. We should also thank the MSBA staff for working with us to help our project continue to move forward.
